Attack skimmers were a light military hovercraft and were one of the most common vehicles used in the 24th century. They often served as the backbone of mechanized infantry units. They were armed with phasers or disruptors and missile launchers. Apart from deflector shields they were also plated with tritanium armor. They could also carry a dozen troops to ferry them across the battlefield. The vehicle's crew often tinkered with their vehicle to suit their own preferences.
