Gemmie was a Korunnai woman who was married to a Balawai militia officer during the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Her husband and his partner, Lou, allowed Jedi Master Mace Windu to reach the droid control system located beneath the city of Pelek Baw, on their homeworld of Haruun Kal. Thus the Jedi was able to defeat the Separatist fleet and put an end to the Summertime War. Gemmie was pregnant at the time, with her third child, a situation which led to her husband's decision to accede to Master Windu.
