The Bray Longford Digger sold by Bray was an American Sherman Backhoe. These units were usually fitted to Fordson Major tractors. The Backhoe was offered on some loading shovel models to make a Backhoe loader combination, similar to the early JCB machines or the Massey Ferguson industrial digger loader combination. The Backhoe unit was built by Sherman Products Inc. of Michigan, USA.
