Within the Machina Federation's special forces division there are many dare-devils and death-defying soldiers, and as a rule of thumb these individuals and units are placed under the jurisdiction of Wild Seven Task Force 7. The Fated Nine, later known as the Fated Eight, was no exception to this rule: gifted with not only skilled individuals, but also an overall sense of camaraderie, they were among the best special operatives in the Federation.
