Cave Monsters are humans mutated by the Cave Parasite. When a human is exposed to the parasite, their body gradually mutates into a form better suited for a cave environment. It is unknown how long the transformation takes. These monsters have the ability to "see" with echolocation, can fly, swim, and are smart enough to lay traps and steal vital supplies from potential victims. They are, however, sensitive to bright light and focused sonic waves.
