The Legionary is a rank utilized during consecutive eras by the armies of the Covenant, New Covenant, and later the reformed Covenant. As per the Second Covenant Mass Rearnament, the Legionary designation replaced the Major and Minor Domo ranks previously utilized by Covenant military. Legionaries which are considered Major Domo quality don a slightly more elegant headdress and fuller face guard than their less experienced counterparts.
