The Environment shield level 1 was designed to resist the harsh conditions of factory floors. This droid shield provided a droid with basic protection against a broad array of environmental effects. Unfortunately, the power drain during its use was significant, therefore, the units needed to be replaced regularly. It was installed in the wreckage of a Rakatan guardian droid in the Rakatan ruins on Dantooine.
