The Yu Dao Resistance was founded one year after the end of the Hundred Year War in its namesake colony, when the Harmony Restoration Movement threatened to tear the city apart by forcing the Fire Nation colonials, who had spent their entire lives in the city, to return to the Fire Nation mainland. Kori Morishita, the leader of the group and a descendant of both the Earth Kingdom and the Fire Nation, spent many hours training with her five cousins, together making up the resistance.
