Azorean Sea Beasts were creatures native to the Azorean Sea of Merdegraw. They had a shell on their single eye stalk, and three fin like structures. When Rusty Pete narrated his story and showed Ratchet journeying across the Azorean Sea in a Pirate Skiff, an Azorean Sea Beast occasionally appeared, more frustrated each time, and shook a tentacle at the Pirate Skiff in anger.
