Using this ability, India, Gabriel and Mikala will be in control of their own bodies and selves at all times. They would only become ill or injured if they allowed themselves to be, and their movements would be more agile and coordinated than normal, because of self-control. Their emotions would also be under their control at all times, and it would be impossible to control their minds or implant thoughts into their head. They would also never lose control of any other abilities they possess.
