Escalating Assault is a heroic tier feat available to swordmages with the aegis of assault power. Each time a swordmage with Escalating Assault makes a melee basic attack granted by the aegis of assault power, the swordmage gains a cumulative +1 bonus on future attack rolls made for the melee basic attacks granted by this power (up to a maximum bonus of +3). This bonus resets to 0 at the end of the encounter or if the swordmage is rendered unconscious.[FRPG:133]
