The Great Temple Squid was a massive squid Rahi that possessed a razor-sharp beak. It also had twelve powerful arms ending in smaller beaks. Its only known predator was the Dweller in the Deep, but it has also been seen in the grip of two crab-like Manas. The Toa Metru encountered this creature during their trip through the Great Barrier. Toa Nuva Gali also fought a Great Temple Squid during her quest for the Kanohi Nuva.
