Towards the end of the Second World War HMS Mallow was transferred to the Yugoslav Royal Navy in exile, at their naval base in Valletta, Malta, and was renamed Nada. After the recognition of Tito's Partisans, the anti-fascist resistance movement in occupied Yugoslavia, the ship was renamed Partizanka and served in the SFR Yugoslav Navy after the war until 1948. In 1948 HMS Mallow was returned to the Royal Navy and was transferred in the same year to the Egyptian Navy where she served as El Sudan.
