Conerock was a city on the planet Halkirk in the Loomis System. When the Loomis Liberation League rose up in rebellion against the government, seizing the local UPS stations and airport, the Conerock city council was the first to go over to the rebels. Some time later, it was destroyed by a kinetic strike fired from a Solarian League Navy ship in orbit of the planet. Most of the city's 85,000 inhabitants, including the wife and children of Innis MacLay, were killed. (HH14)
