The Bionic Kraken is an enemy in EarthBound that appears rarely in the third section of the Cave of the Past, right before you enter the cave to fight Giygas. It is a stronger, upgraded version of the Kraken (but with less HP), and possesses the same attacks: it can use a Crashing Boom Bang attack, breathe fire, etc. It can also stir up a tornado that causes major damage to the party, or emit a pale green light. These beasts are always fought alone, and using the party's most powerful PSI reduces the difficulty. The Bionic Kraken has a 1/128 chance to drop the Gutsy Bat.
