The Liberty Project is devoted to helping people who believe they have been wrongly accused or incarcearted. They hosted an annual gala in which Emily received an invitation because she was a "platinum level doner." After Emily gave Patricia Barnes courage to expose Robert, she gave a speech exposing Judge Barnes not only for having a tainted jury at the David Clarke trial but for abusing her, showing her bruses to the reporters and to the audience. She gives a grateful smile to Emily who nods and smiles sadly.
