Grutch was a large grey rat captain in the horde of Urgan Nagru. Grutch was the head of a band of six horderats who guarded the drawbridge of Castle Floret, while Mariel, Muta and Rab Streambattle occupied the gatehouse. He also led one of the ultimate charges by the rats against Mariel and her friends.
