The Tuatara Commemorative was struck to remember and commemorate the Tuatara which featured on the five cent coin for many years. These were struck on the modern ten cent blanks, and had a image similar to that of the five cent coin. They are made with a bronze finish, and are sold in a plastic card casing. These coins are legal tender, but do not circulate.
