The Balcescu System was a Verge star system near the Maya Sector. It had a class F7 primary. Its sole habitable planet, Debrecen, was originally colonized by ethnic Hungarians. It was orbited by Balcescu Station, an elderly space station that by the early 20th Century PD served as a slave depot for the Mesan Jessyk Combine. (CS3)
