Kaoru first made a cameo appearance in Bailey's visions of the past. Kaoru was talking to HIM in his human form, stating how she should have killed him when she had the chance. She appeared to be working at a bar. She later makes another appearance in the story along with the other members of the Powerpuff Girls Z. The trio were going to meet up with Ken and Pinky for dinner, and she along with the other girls pronounced Pinky's name as "Binky".
