After a short hiatus, Ed wood wrote a 600 page story called Pulp Fiction (1967), which starred Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe, which was awarded for their performances. He then collarborated with an relativley unknown director in 1974 Steven Spielberg on Jaws, originally a monster film, but a film in reference to Alfred Hitchcock's ability to create suspense was used,and after several months of difficult filmming, Jaws was completed and was released in summer 1975 and was awarded several awardsfor innovative filming and help establish the 29 year old Spielberg as a household name, they would later collaborate on two other films 1981's Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the lost ark and 1993's Jurassic Park.
