Woodsprites are humanoid beings that are slightly bigger than Smurfs in size. They have a reputation of playing thoughtless pranks on other creatures, including each other, which result in chaos - they are thought to be bad luck, getting a laugh out of other peoples' shortcomings and mishaps. One such example is Ripple: a high-strung character who makes an outstanding first impression on Gargamel by sending him and Scruple into a pond being chased by bees. No other recognizable Woodsprites have appeared on the show other than him.
