The Kel'var-class was a Klingon heavy frigate that saw service during the 24th century. The class was first commissioned in 2362. The vessel was of sturdy design and had an advanced structural integrity field system giving it a strong hull. The class made use of four warp nacelles and had a short and thick main body and short neck connecting to its forward command module that combines elements of the Vor'cha-class and the D7-class.
