Ten years after Emergence Day, Tyran National Utilities was working to help the Coalition of Ordered Governments army prevent the Locust from using the sewer system. One of the companies managers, Slader, went with Col.Victor Hoffman, SSgt.Lennard Parry, and several other Gears into one of the southern outfall sewers in Ephyra to investigate if the Locust were using it. Slader helped find ways to help the Gears to monitor the sewer for Locust activity with assistance from Tyran National Utilities.
