Internet Relay Chat, or IRC, is a real-time chat protocol. An IRC-based chat room is offered in addition to Wikia's built-in chat feature. There are many IRC clients for this purpose, however if you're new to IRC you can use freenode's simple web-based IRC client, which is also included below.
