Marjorie Parker Smith (c. 1917 – January 17, 2009) was an American champion in dance and skating competitions during the latter part of the 1930s. Nearly fifty years later, she again gained championship status in running the 300-yard and the 600-yard dashes. She died at age of 92 on January 17, 2009 at her home in Brooklyn, New York. Survived by five children and three grandchildren. Parker Smith will be inducted into United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame January 23, 2009 in the “Golden” category at the United States Figure Skating Championships in Cleveland.
