United Liberation Army was founded as Imperial Union Party in July 2589 when the peace treaty ended the Second Darnussian Civil War. IUP reunited the old Darnussian Liberation Army members together after they had split at the beginning of the civil war. After Joshua C. Mastertoni withdrew from the party leadership it renamed itself as United Liberation Army. After the rise of Claude Deimore, who was considered one of the brightest political ofsprings of the movement, ULA became part of Deimore's National Coalition and dissolved after the fall of Deimore and the Empire.
