Larry Holmes is a former world heavyweight champion in boxing. In either 1983 or 1984, Nintendo of America requested that he come to New Orleans, Louisiana and help them present the Nintendo Entertainment System video game Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!. He did and demoed the game in front of a large crowd waiting to get their hands on the title. The team from Japan who developed the game was also there and got Holmes to sign red boxing gloves which they had on display at their development studio in Kyoto. This article is a stub.
