Hoofer is a large, black, yellow and red wildebeest and one of Donkey Kong's Animal Buddies. He is found in the ice levels of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. His abilities are similar to Rambi the Rhinoceros. Hoofer is a powerful wildebeest and he can smash through enemies and barriers with ease. Hoofer performs a gigantic leap when he touches a pile of fruit at the end of a level: this gives Donkey Kong a certain number of beats depending on the distance traveled. Hoofer later appears as a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The sticker increases the resistance of any elemental attacks.
