Felix Beta was the sole, marginally habitable planet of the Felix System. The planet had an orbital radius of six light-minutes, an axial inclination of thirty-one degrees, 1.4 times the gravity of Old Earth, and a miserable hydrosphere of thirty-three percent. It was a cold, arid, dusty, windstorm-lashed world of seemingly no value to anyone, but it was nonetheless a candidate for possible future development by the Mesan Alignment because of the Felix System's proximity to the Mannerheim System.
