Amras Aurora had been very surprised when the lovely, sophisticated half-elf Sequoia started paying him attention all those years ago. She was a good deal younger than him, though very mature for her age. Did they have anything in common? Not really. But Amras had the very distinct Aurora look about him - handsome and a little bit wild. Unpredictable, he seemed, even though his personality said otherwise. In a more populated village, Sequoia would have been the Echo of her generation.
