Mochite Power Converters (MPCs) exploit the Mochite Process to extract mana and produce energy. The resulting heat from the process is used to boil water to power turbines, much like a nuclear reactor. The only downside is that the spent Mochite is virtually useless and can't be recycled. It's only use is in plating. MPCs typically have two or more extractors if an extractor is being emptied/filled, and consequently the cycles are not synchronized and so the crystal frequency has to be altered to keep the power modulated correctly.
