The Waffen SS Division Das Reich (Germ. 2.SS-Panzer-Division Das Reich) was once the single largest division on Issuing Orders, almost twice as large as its closest rival, the 3 ID 3rd Armour BDE, and comprised of infantry, mechanized, medical, armoured and air support units. It was formed by its commander Rafael Z. Wolfram on December 8th 2007. Das Reich was once one of the most active divisions on IO, and subsequently has a very rich history. The division became defunct on December 4th, 2009 when its commander disbanded the 2nd SS and formed the 3rd SS Division, Totenkopf from the remnants.
