Vahla ha'nesh was the temple of Illyria and her seat of power, in which her army of doom was gathered. Before she was murdered, Illyria hid her temple by placing it on a different timestream. However, it was mystically locked by Wolfram & Hart. With the aid of Knox, Illyria was able to enter Vahla ha'nesh only to find her temple in ruins and her army long dead.
