Stephanos I Anemas, was a Hereditary Doux of Nicaea, the founder of the House of Anemas and an illegitimate child of Roman Emperor Andronikos III Palaiologos. He would marry a Byzantine noble of the Batazes dynasty, named Theodora, and would have a son with her. His descendants would eventually merge the two houses, which would rule over the Kingdom of Nicaea, and eventually, a branch of the Anemas dynasty would become the ruling house of the Roman Empire in the Wizarding World.
