Denise Okaro was a character in The Bill. She was the wife of Superintendent Adam Okaro. In Episode 066 she was introduced at the school she was headmaster of, where Des Taviner and Gemma Osbourne were giving a road safety initiative as punishment for racing police cars. In Episode 185 she was implicated in a fraud inquiry involving the church she had started working at as a trust accountant, and was arrested in the next episode. She was cleared of any wrong doings. In Episode 307 she was involved in a car crash with her daughter Leia and son Malcolm. Tradgedy struck when all three died, which shook Adam's world, and after bottling his emotions up for weeks, he took leave after a major undercover drugs op.
