Jon was born to Lord Kevin Crakehall and his wife Jeyne Swyft in 360 AC. His parents loved Jon with all their hearts, but they had little and less to spare for each other. Jon grew up with a divided household, and its' effects can be seen on the man he became. Quiet, reserved, diligent. Jon was the opposite of the Crakehall stereotype. Good with anything he put his mind to, Jon has gathered skill with the lance, the blade and the spear, but has not yet been knighted. As his father said, "Knighthood must be earned, not given to anyone on a whim. Elsewise, what's the point?"
