It's different, but whether it's better depends largely on how you use your browser. If you want something simplistic but fast, then try Chrome. If you prefer to customize your browsing experience with themes, extensions, settings, shortcuts, and other add-ons, then you need Firefox. Another factor to consider is Google's Privacy Policy - do you want information about what you're browsing to be sent straight to Google? Finally, Firefox has been in the market earlier and thus so far more stable. Chrome is not complete as a browser in that it has issues sometimes with stuff like RSS.
