Minos Korva is a Federation planet located near the Demilitarized Zone and the border with the Cardassian Union. In 2369, the Cardassians planned to resume hostilities with the Federation and began by invading Minos Korva, hiding a large invasion force in the nearby McAllister C-5 Nebula and having Gul Madred capture and torture Jean-Luc Picard for information on the defense of Minos Korva. However, due to the efforts of Captain Edward Jellico and the crew of the USS Enterprise the invasion failed. (TNG episode: "Chain of Command, Part II")
