Dave Barnett is the son of Attorney General Mr. Barnett. He was at one point in his life captured and tortured by the first Zodiac. Mr. Barnett was forcing Blaze to do undercover work, but his son Dave didn't like Blaze and picked a fight with him. At one point, Dave threatened to kill Roxanne Simpson because Blaze refused to hunt down the Zodiac. After a fight, Blaze feels sympathy for the broken and insane Dave and decides to fight the Zodiac for him and his father.
