Klein worked as edior on the short film Blind Tom: The Story of Thomas Bethune (1981), the documentary Errol Flynn: Portrait of a Swashbuckler (1983), the television series Freddy's Nightmares (1988-1989), the comedy Fashionably L.A. (1999), the television special The 10th Annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards (2005), and the documentary Y Yoga Movie (2008) on which he also worked as director, writer, producer, and cinematographer. In 2010 he produced the documentary BoardHeads.
