The Vanamar were the descendants of the Eldarin Loremasters in the Fourth Age.With most of the High-Elves having left Middle-Earth to return to the Immortal Lands, the Vanimar encomprised a cabal of Loremasters who had decided to stay in Endor and embrace the fading of the Elves.The Vanamar tried to archive and preserve the knowledge of the past and continue the role of the Elves as teachers and councillors of Men.
