Watto was a male Toydarian and owner of a junkyard on Tatooine. He was also the slave owner of the young boy, Anakin Skywalker, until Qui-Gon Jinn, came along and took him off Watto's hands. Watto remained at his junkyard, moving it to the spaceport, where he met up with Anakin once more, ten years later. There, Watto informed Anakin that he had sold Anakin’s mother to a man named Cliegg who lived on the other side of Mos Eisley. Watto continued his occupation at the junkyard until retirement.
