He was an Russian high ranking Umbrella Corporation Executive and serves as the company's Captain of the Guard under the direct orders of President Oswell E. Spencer. He is Spencer's most loyal officer next to James Marcus. His weapon of choice is a Milkor MGL Mk 1L.
