The Shield Elixir (守護の秘薬, Shugo no Hiyaku, lit. "Elixir of Protection") is a temporary status boosting item found in Legend of Legaia. It increases the UDF/LDF stats of a single character by 20% for the duration of the battle. The effect of the elixir is eliminated automatically after the battle is over or during battle if the character has fainted. Multiple Shield Elixirs can be stacked in battle in order to increase the UDF/LDF boost even further.
