Nando Estevez was a Peruvian ranger at the Madre de Dios nature reserve. Professor Nick Cutter knew him from his time at the Central Metropolitan University. Nando called in Cutter to help him with the Thylacosmilus. His half-brother Esteban Estevez helped him as a ranger.
