When Ken got older, he took over running his father's lab along with Peach and GIR. Ken began testing Chemical A, a new form of the original substance Chemical Z for an experiment. However, the impact of the Chemical A causes black and white rays of light to appear in the skies above Tokyo. Bailey, Rei, Pinky, Berry, and Yumi were engulfed by the lights and became Bailey Butterflies, Bee Stars, Pinky Hearts, Berry Flowers, and Yumi Music Notes. They are now the next generation of Awesomepuffs, and as such, Ken now watches over the girls.
