Well, a few months ago when I saw Ed Bellis (re)doing this, I thought it would be a fun idea. Then I got really busy. But now, I have a little time, so here we are! You can expect a lot of the songs on this list to be older than the ones you might find in a typical list like this; I'm a sucker for "classic" video game music. However, I can't ignore the brilliance of a number of songs from the last couple generations of music, so rest assured they will be represented. A song can qualify for this list for a number of reasons: it can fit the game really well, it can make me laugh, it can bring back good memories, or (and perhaps in most cases) it can stand alone as a fine piece of music.
