Nail Yakupov (born October 6, 1993) is a Russian junior ice hockey right winger currently playing for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Besides being the consensus early favorite for top pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Yakupov, an ethnic Tatar, also represents the first potential breakout hockey star from predominantly Muslim Tatarstan located 500 miles east of Moscow.
