The 2nd Infantry Division was a formation of the United States Army and was stationed in Gordon, Georgia. On April 17th, 1946, Frank Gennaro was transferred to the 2nd Infantry Division's 3rd Brigade after his completion of the IADT. It was here that he became a 1st Lieutenant before being transferred to Camp Devens in Massachusetts on October 15th, 1947.
